The oral camera makes possibile to take pictures from areas of oral cavity which is not possible by digital cameras. On the monitor, set up on dental equipment, patients can check the status, oral hygiene and deformations to be treated of his/her own teeth.

Pictures taken by the oral camera compose important part of case analysis and documentation. Pictures can be stored in the computer and can be forwarded to dental technician in order to the successful preparation of prosthesis or in case a medical consultation becomes necessary through e-mail.
