Do you know that the completely metal-free restoration is the future of dentistry?

Metal alloys, except titanium, used in dentistry may induce allergic reactions. Not to mention that the common presence of different metals in the mouth generates undesirable galvanic currents that may cause serious oral mucus membrane disease.

Instead of amalgamate fillings, aesthetic fillings prepared by adhesive techniques while instead of metal-base porcelain prosthesis, zirconium-oxide frame porcelain dentures will get into the mouthes, and the implantates made of zirconium-oxide have recently become available on the market.

It seems that metal-free dentures will soon replace from practice the metal-base porcelain prosthesis. Besides correct oral hygienie and prevention, the application of extra hard ceramics systems will create a long lasting health of your teeth.

Zirconium-base ceramics are about three-times more expensive than metal-ceramics and full porcelain dentures. However this can provide the longest chewing capability and the preservation of aesthetics of teeth.

Our surgeries prefer the zirconium-oxide prosthesis prepared by CAD-CAM technology which has the following principle:

The dental technical laboratory will digitalize the pattern preparation by a laser scanner then by the help of special software will plan the prosthesis. Following that the fraise-centre abroad, through a modem, will either press the zirconium-oxide into mould and sinter it, or from pre- or completely sintered state block will fraise the dental plate or arch frame. This will be received back by fast-mail to the laboratory where the technician will cover it with compatible porcelain in accordance with the individual aesthetic, bio-mechanic and hygienic requirements.
