Technical advice

For the successful recovery of the surgery intervention, please read the following advice of us concerning the activities to do following the operation!

Please remove the gauze tampon, inserted after the operation, after 1 hour!

Please DO NOT suck and DO NOT rinse the operation area on the day of operation!

Please cool the operation area from outside with the cooling bag we gave you! The advisable minimal cooling time following the operation is 4 hours! The careful cooling of operation area will reduce the opportunity of the formation of a local oedema.

The cooling bag can be re-cooled in the home-fridge or can be replaced with a deep-frozen product bag (like green -peas) that we advice to use wrapped in a towel! It is important that YOU SHOULD NOT use wet compress because it might help the formation of a local oedema!

If it is possible, for 48 hours, following the operation, please DO NOT lie down, have a rest in a sitting position! This piece of advice concerns the night rest as well for which we advice to raise the head with 2-3 pillows till a body position of an angle of about 45 degrees.

In the period following the operation the careful oral hygiene has a special importance. Plaques that may form in untended, not enough - clean kept oral cavity, are of bacterial origin that can over-infect the fresh, operated wound jeopardize the success of surgery intervention!

Please use the post-operative oral hygienic package we provided for you according to the followings:

• Use dental floss!
• Use interdental brush!
• Wash your teeth with your own tooth-brush and with Meridol tooth-paste!
• Clean your tongue with the tongue-cleaning brush!
• Clean carefully the operation area with the soft-haired wound-cleaning brush!
• Pour Meridol mouthwash into the measuring cap then rinse with this quantity for 1 minute! Please DO NOT rinse the mouthwash from your mouth with tap water!

In the first week following the operation it is advisable to repeat the above process three times a day!

As to the meal it is advisable to avoid dairy products as far as possible (like yoghurt, kefir and cheese) and egg food, respectively!

Please take your pills and medicines in accordance with the indication of your attending physician!

Antibiotics proposed for you: C.Dalacin C 300mg 4x1

Important! Antibiotics must be applied as course otherwise they do more harm than good! Please take the content of the whole box which is the quantity for a course of 4 days!

Painkiller proposed for you: T.Apranax 550mg 3x1

Beside the pain-killer effect of this pill it has an inflammation reduction effect as well therefore it is advisable to take it for minimum three days.

Following the ceasing of complaints it can be abandoned!

Following the operation it might be necessary for soft-laser therapy in the operative area. Besides the painkiller, inflammation reduction and immune stimulation effect of soft-laser therapy it will promote recovery significantly!

Furthermore, it is advisable to take Calcium effervescent tablet (for example Ca-Sandoz), in the first week, following the operation to prevent formation of a local oedema!

Removal of stitches will be necessary within 7-10 days, following the operation, while possible loose of stitches does not mean any problem meanwhile, in general!
